I sent out an e-mail this weekend to registered members of the blog announcing the forum. Once I saw the final e-mail, I realized the formatting was messed up. So, I am resending the e-mail again. I apologize for the double send.

Also, you can opt out of receiving these e-mails if you like. You can manage your e-mail preferences on your profile page.

I just shut down registration on the blog. So if you don't have an account, you can no longer create one on the blog. You can still login if you have an account, and all the features will still be there.
You can still register here on the forums, and I think you will be able to login on the blog with that account.
Why did I turn off registration? Well, it was obvious only spammers were continuing to sign up. I'm not sure why as I'm not sure what the benefit is. At any rate, interactions on the blog were not increasing even though I was getting sign ups every day. So I shut it down.
I hope this doesn't cause a problem for anyone. Let me know if you have any questions.

MemberWhat if you created a link for the current members of this site to send to friends and family to sign up by personal invitation only? I'm sure that those of us who enjoy this site and rely on the information that you provide on it would help make it grow. I don't know how you get your information, but I find it very helpful. It's a great site! Thanks!
